About Mushkile’

Mushkile’ is an 8-minute rotoscope animation tracing the relationships between me and my grandmother, and between her and Alzheimer's. The film moves between memory and present, imagination and reality - following the emotional journey of watching someone you love slowly change.

The film's structure mirrors the disease itself: its sections shift in length and reassemble randomly with each viewing, so every audience experiences the same story in a different order and duration. Alzheimer's follows a recognisable path from person to person - but none of us can know how much time each chapter holds, or in what order the pieces will fall.

Mushkile screened at over 10 film festivals worldwide and won Best Short Animation Film at several of them.
