For this project i used a collection of tube newspaper headlines in order to

build the script.

The newspaper headlines, Functioning as both a mirror of contemporary

events and a historical archive capturing recent times, provides a snapshot

of the unfolding narrative. Rooted in the surrealist movement's exploration

of the subconscious, my research aims to create the present-day

stream of consciousness.

Drawing inspiration from the observations of individuals on trains, where brief moments are seized to peruse scattered newspapers, it becomes evident that the potency of headlines is significant. In essence, the interplay between headlines and readership transcends the mere consumption of news, it becomes an artful dance, where interpretations are spun, and narratives are woven, creating a rich tapestry of perspectives.

This project serves as metaphorical windows into our shared stream of consciousness. It constructs a scene that is entirely artificial yet brimming with familiar objects, each carrying unique significance for every observer.

The accompanying sound is crafted from snippets of the newspaper

headline archive, giving rise to a reality that seamlessly blends the real

and the artificial.
